Loire Valley Apart Hotels

"Have you ever been on a city break, choosen an apartment based hotel based on it having a swimming pool, to find it was actually located in the attached old filks home. Think thats bad, tjen find the reception staff act as they also come from the old fols home, they certainly hav'nt been trained in hosputality. Air condition, slight trickle of cold air, windows bolted shut, might as well have been locked in an oven. And if you want more than 2 cups of coffee on a four day stay get ready to pay 1...

"Overall it was great, the staff was nice and the customer service was excellent. But the kitchen was lacking essential articles, like knives, casserole etc. But besides those little things, it was a great deal. Thank you!"

"It was very convenient to check in. The property I located quite remote, so a car is necessary. For us it was convenient, because there was always parking and the place itself was good and quite spacious. "

Upon complaining I was kindly offered 2 other rooms but athough these were modernised and newly updated in the end I stuck with original room due to the extra space, how bright it was and the amazing 8th floor view. "The apartment itself was pretty good. Excellent bathroom and a large lounge. It would be good to have some furniture on the balcony. The surrounding area is quiet and a fair distance from any shops or restaurants. The staff, when you could get hold of them. We were staying in Nevers for the motorcycle world championship at nearby Magny Cours. Three days here is long enough."

"Asked within allowed timeframe to change from 2 nights to 1 night, which was approved by manager, in a written email response. We only slept there 1 night and checked out in the morning. However, upon check in, we were charged for 2 nights, despite said approval. There was no reasoning with the manager, she insisted that we had no right for a refund because I had said we would leave in the evening, even though we left in the morning, and despite teh fact she had previously approved the booking...
