Sweeping bay windows, high ceilings, and an open-plan kitchen make downstairs enviably light and roomy. Sat proudly at the front of the house, the living room is as picture-perfect as the canvas on its wall, showcasing soft, sage interiors, plenty of cushy seating, and a clean, minimalist style. Extra points go to the large satsuma sofa, which adds a perfect pop of colour, as well as looking fiendishly comfy... A sizeable kitchen and dining room, featuring an abundance of pale wood, quaint, emerald tiles, and picturesque French windows, enhances that delectable English-countryside vibe. Step outside and the vision is complete, with a liberally furnished patio offering al fresco dining options, a decadent rattan sofa (which we've already earmarked for evening wine time), and a luscious stretch of well-kempt lawn, bordered by leafy shrubs and tumbling flowers. We love...
Come for the downstairs, stay for the upstairs. Unequivocally lovely as the ground floor décor is, the bedrooms give us a reassuring sense of vintage comfort, be it in the sprinkling of old-time furniture, floor-length curtains, or that antique-style bed frame. We should also give a nod to the first bathroom, which combines clean tones, gleaming tiles, and a fetching alcove bathtub. Let's just say we're sorry in advance for how difficult it will be to leave this home.

Home Truths:
A dog is part of the family here, so it's not suitable for those with allergies. Other dogs are welcome on request. The second bedroom comes with a small double bed, suited to one adult. No more than seven guests staying at one time. If you're staying during the chillier months, the top floor bathroom doesn't have central heating. No cold showers though, thankfully. A peaceful setting and respectful neighbours are great but means noise carries, so please be mindful. This home is not suitable for toddlers. There's a gas BBQ and a coal BBQ available, as well as two push bikes.
