good apartment right in the centre of The City

The welcome was great and the size and position of the apartment fabulous. The apartment is a little tired and could use a GE real spruce up especially all of the taps and shower. The mattress is quite old I suspect and could use a mattress topper and some new pillows. But in general a really great place and so conveniently located with really nice people who take care of you.

Plenty of space. No door between kitchen and bedroom so had to turn the fridge off, but not a big problem. They've made a reasonable job of tidying up an older property. All in great value for the area.

Park lane by name but definetly not in reality. Hard to find outside was not a good first impression. Carpets needing replaced or at least cleaned. Musty smell in shower room. Paid less for much better. Area felt unsafe . The man on reception was very nice and helpful but unfortunately the negatives outweghed this. Booked 2 nights stayed one and bunked in with a friend second night. Sorry but not for me

Overall the apartment was good and clean, However, the TV downstairs in the bedroom didn't work, no signal. The sink in the bathroom was slow to drain due to blockage and the washing machine stopped mid-cycle possibly due filter blockage. Bed was very comfortable and spacious. Shower was fantastic. Very convenient for central London, close to underground and bus routes. Would stay again

I love staying at Park Lane City Apartments. Perfect location for me, friendly staff, clean, comfortable and well equipped. I'd give it full marks if only they would put cable or satelite TV in. The TV reception is very poor. Come on guys. Sort it out! So close to perfect.

Very spacious apartment with all the amenities you need to have a great stay. Lovely staff and very well located close to shops, supermarkets and Liverpool st station. A bit noisy and fixtures look a bit too old.

The property is extremely run down. I was in the penthouse with the large roof terrace. It looked filthy, probably wasn't but very tired. Painting not finished, stains everywhere, wall paper coming off. Medieval condensing contraption I've never seen before. Rotten wood in kitchen The picture of where I thought I was staying was not where I ended up staying It's quite big for London but needs modernising urgently

Good value just in need of an update

The apartment was well located (a 5 minute walk - if that) to Liverpool Street station. It was really spacious and it was very clean. I wasn’t expecting a clean as I was only staying there two nights but they did come in and tidy up which was nice. It included everything you needed from tea bags to cooking utensils which was excellent. It was in desperate need of an update though, it was very shabby with wallpaper falling off and missing grout etc a random bug turned up in the bath overnight, the hotel staff didn’t seem that fussed about it though. Overall good value for money, just don’t expect it to be in the best condition

Well situated, close to the tube station. Lots of interesting thingd to do within walking distance. Spacious and comfortable room and kitchen. Friendly staff. The only problem was that we were on thr ground floor and the windows couldn't be opened. There was a ventilation system to compensate though.

Perfect location, very nice staff, big apartment, fully equipped. We booked a one bedroom apartment and the bathroom with shower was very small and rough around the edges. No noise at all which was brilliant! In summary, it’s not the Ritz and but value for money for space and location is very good

There is no digital tv! The tv has a portable analogue aerial which didn’t work, so despite having two TVs in the apartment, neither of them got a signal! Other than that, it was a lovely basement/ground floor apartment, nicely kitted out, comfortable, clean and very convenient for the City. They just need to update the TV signal to cable.

The service was great as was the location. We had booked a king room, didn't receive it. List below of issues: - broken tiles in bathroom with shower - old/dirty shower head - carpets very old, dirty and stained - broken toilet paper holder, towel hanger, kettle - broken fan over stove - pillows essentially flat boards I don't like giving bad reviews but I was very disappointed in this place. I won't return.

Overall it was a good place. Things I disliked were upon arrival they charged a 40 pound up charge for being late due to Alitalia being delayed. I notified them immediately Once the delay happened. The charge was for checking in later than 11 pm even though the front desk is manned at all times. The Wifi in the unit was broken, the front desk simply gave us the wifi to the unit next to us which was essentially worthless. Did not try to ever fix the WiFi in our unit. Other than that it was a good, clean, and centrally located to where my friends and I chose to go out and enjoy London in.

Great location and whilst the apartment was tired looking it had everything I needed and was clean. The lady that greeted me was very friendly and helpful and took me up to my apartment to make sure all was ok. I have seen previous negative reviews but for the price in this location I was quite happy with my stay.

Just ok. It’s not a 4 star apartment, and barely 3 star. Very tired and worn, it needs an update. The bed was ok, pillows hard. There was a hole in the bathroom wall. The shower door didn’t shut properly. I wouldn’t have booked it if it was properly represented. There’s better for the money.

Upgrade to Penthouse

Location was great, just 200 yards from Paddington Station. Upgraded to Great Penthouse flat. 3 bedrooms (1 on suite), large well furnished living room, roof terrace, and good fitted kitchen. Only negative was the dish washer did not work. We were only there for 1 night, so that did not matter. Service charges very low, no exorbitant cleaning fee. Many thanks
