This hotel is located in the center of town, so it is convenient for traveling north, south, east and west. It is also possible to go to Death Valley for a day trip, although it is a little far away.

We had a wonderful stay at the Mount Whitney Motel. This family-run property exceeded our expectations with its well-kept and clean rooms. The location is perfect, close to numerous restaurants and shops, making it convenient for exploring the area. The motel offers ample parking space, which was a big plus for us. The room was equipped with a microwave and fridge, which came in handy during our stay. The check-in and check-out process was smooth and hassle-free. What really stood out was the exceptional service. The staff went above and beyond to assist us with a few special requests, making us feel truly welcomed. The only minor issue was a slightly ripped chair in the room, but it was such a non-issue that it didn’t bother us at all. Overall, Mount Whitney Motel provides a great value-for-money experience with its cleanliness, location, and outstanding hospitality. Highly recommended!

We stayed for 1 night during our 10 day road trip around national parks in CA, AZ and UT. The property is okie but can be improved. The bathroom door was not getting locked which was a bummer. I expect motel to still have that working. No breakfast but not a dealbreaker as there are tons of nearby food places.

Very nice for a small motel. Rooms were clean and nicely renovated. Fairly quiet. There are always trucks going by on 395 so hard for it to be really quiet. Found it very pleasant and many dining options within a short walk.
