"Great little family get away for a few adult siblings and spouses. Thomas was very accommodating when we needed something. Nice place to sit outside and there was hiking close by. We also got to watch the eclipse and the owners provided viewing glasses which was an added bonus. "

"Perfect for my Wife and I. Used all of kitchen and it accommodated us. AC kept us cool all weekend. The “wee store” next door had anything we needed or forgot from home. It is also close to everything but far enough away from all of the crowded spots. Will definitely be booking again for future trips."

"This place is an amazing, family friendly place to stay. From picnicking down by the spring to catching lightening bugs and seeing the bats then walking up to swim in the luxury pool! We loved every minute of it and the host was VERY accommodating and helped us with every question we had. 100% recommend for a couple or for a family!! Everything is a walk away. You don’t even have to leave"

"My wife and I dropped our kids at a camp close by and wanted to have a couple nights of just us enjoying the frio region and all it has to offer. Water was low on all parts of the Frio, but having water access across the street was great!! Cabin was charming, quiet, and had all the needed amenities. "This was our 6 year going to Double Dog Cabins. I can not say enough wonderfully things about the place. It has it all. Great view, privacy, easy river access. The house is very cute and has everything you need. And the owner, Mr. Moore, is wonderful and extremely helpful. Already have next year booked."
