"The place is lovely, and the cottage was very charming, but I felt like the place needed a better clean, especially considering the price. The drying rack in the kitchen had a grime build-up, and the shower floor was quite grubby. I also noticed some hair on the floor under one of the beds, and the vase was hiding an ant family that came out during the night. "Had a 27 day stay in this house. Was greeted by Ray who walked me through the house explaining everything in the house he was available for any queries and nothing was a problem. The house is perfectly equipped for a stay and the pool was the highlight for the children and no hassle at all as was cleaned once a week by an outside provider. Beds are comfortable and all linen and towels supplied. Entertaining spaces were large and inviting. Would 100% stay again and can’t find one thing to improve on this. Special thanks to Ray for the compassion shown when a last minute extension of stay was required due to a family bereavement. "
"We loved our stay at African Violets & in Noordhoek. Our Courtyard Cottage was spacious, in excellent condition & had great views to Chapman's Peak & the coastline. The pool area was fabulous with the same great views and plenty of sunbeds & covered comfy seating. Our hot tub was an added luxury which we used most evenings. Finally, Noordhoek was a good location with access to several fabulous beaches, cafes, restaurants & towns. We'd definitely stay again."
