"I have never been to a hotel where you have to take your shoes off at the door. They do provide wool slippers in your room. The local custom dates back to when the coal miners were told to take their shoes off because they were so dirty. The staff was helpful. The breakfast was good. The room was fine. I would use this hotel again "
