"This was a great property that fit our needs. We loved the house and may have to return under better circumstances instead of a funeral. The host was gracious enough to allow us to have the 2 dogs of which we were very thankful for. Even though there was no air conditioning, there were plenty of fans throughput the house. That deck was also very pleasant to sit on with those great tall trees for shade"

"The property was very nice. My only complaint was the lack of sound proofing as i am a very light sleeper and I could hear everything no matter if I closed the bedroom door or not. We enjoyed our stay right next to the trail at the river."

"Location to highway was excellent. Sheetz gas station & a restaurant within walking distance. Stayed here for a Penn State football weekend. Absolutely loved all of the chic decor and attention to detail in the house. Plenty of room for our family of four. Host was quick to respond to messages. Will recommend to others and would 100% stay here again. "

"After some initial confusion regarding where the front door was located, I escorted my out of town guests past the fence and into the house which was very cozy. It’s cute, it’s quirky, and it’s conveniently located near a great restaurant. I would recommend this location to anyone staying in the area."

"We had a pleasant stay at the Oar House. The upstairs mattresses were harder than what we personally prefer (side sleepers complained of hip and shoulder pain) and couldn't get the remote on the Sleep Number mattress downstairs to work. I'm not sure if it was the remote or user error though. The drip pans on the stovetop burners were a little greasy (as were the utensils beside the stove from splatters), but everything else was very clean. "We stayed here while waiting to move into a new house. The house was clean and had plenty of room for my family of 6. The house was set back a bit from amenities,however this made it very peaceful. The host was very accommodating allowing other family to visit us. The host was also quick to respond to any questions or concerns we had during our stay. This house will be a place we will continue to stay when visiting family."

"Beautiful cabin very friendly owners. Had a couple hiccups at first but all worked out. It is secluded and peaceful yet still close enough to any stores or activities that you might want to do while you are there. There are no TVs and we didn’t kiss them at all we took time to sit in the porch, listen to the creek and birds, we even did a puzzle while were were there. Thank you to the hosts that allowed us to escape from our everyday life."

"This is a comfortable, small house on a gravel road in the woods near Blue Mountain State Park. Kitchen is well furnished. Property manager Tori was very helpful when we couldn't figure out how to switch from a/c to heat. A great back deck with shade from big trees. Mostly quiet--an occasional car goes by on a bigger road nearby, and one afternoon there was target practice or fire crackers. A good place to relax and get away, but the wifi works if you want to be connected."
