You are more than welcome to stay in our large first floor east facing air conditioned apartment set in gated community in the very popular El Divino complex in Los Alcazares, Costa Calida. Just a short 3 minute walk to the very popular Los Alcazares Mercadona Plaza with many bars, restaurants & shopping facilities & a further 5 minute walk to the stunning beaches with a large selection of bars, restaurants & water sports. In close proximity to the property there are several championship golf courses including Roda & Mar Menor Golf, ideal for both beach lovers & keen golfers. This property has two bedrooms, two bathrooms lounge/diner & American style fitted kitchen with quality furniture. From the large terrace there are views across to the magnificent communal pool & stunning manicured gardens. There are two pools & the surrounding gardens & communal areas are manicured & kept to the highest standard. The new airport is a 30 minute drive away or Alicante airport is a 50 minute drive, a transfer can be arranged from Murcia-Corvera airport.

A piece of heaven
Its the second time we have stayed in this apartment and it was just as good. We got to meet up with friends and enjoyed sitting by the pool. It was quieter which suited us down to the ground and the weather was good to us. I hope Martyn and Sharon will let us come and stay again. Thank you.

Beautiful apartment with everything you could ever need available. Location was fantastic a short stroll to pubs and a multitude of different restaurants. Pool area was beautifully maintained. Beach accessible on foot. Lots of free parking available around the complex. Excellent communication from owner and associate in Los Alcazares had a brilliant week.

we were very lucky to rent this property as it was a last minute thing. Property was as described but just a couple of things let it down. Toilet brushes needed replacing, toaster too. Furniture in the living room was lovely but tv we couldn't get to work. (Not really missed) beds a little uncomfortable but we all prefer our own beds.

Terrible! Not as described and NOT FOR KIDS
So disappointing, IT IS FILTHY. The decor is so outdated and very rough round the edges, it’s need modernisation, everything looks very tatty/faded. No furniture matches. The beds are nothing more than old army style metal frames with very cheap uncomfortable mattresses. The bedding is in matching old patterned sheets. The other bedding has been thrown on top of the wardrobes. Not even folded or neatly. It’s described as an air conditioned apartment, there is only air con in the lounge, not in the bedrooms, when it’s hitting 44 degrees outside and you have very young children it is not good enough to describe it as an air conditioned apartment when only 1 room is. We had to pay to hire a cot bed that was only found for us by request a day before we arrived, even though the booking we made stated how old our baby is. So I’m assuming we were expected to put our infant to sleep on a bed with no sides? Bathroom shower doors are rusty and broken, the sealant is broken and disgusting. All grout is filthy. There is no oven, the kitchen is not clean, think with dirt on lots of places and it’s all very damaged. There is random nails and hooks stuck out of the wall. My parents are staying in another apartment also in the El Divino complex, they paid the same amount of money for the same dates and it’s significantly nicer and also has a beautiful well furnished roof terrace. It’s modernised and is spotlessly clean and not tatty at all. I feel so disappointed that we’re in this apartment and we paid the same for it! There’s is also fully air conditioned. No one told us about the pool rules either, so today we were shouted at by a very aggressive, unkind and down right nasty lady (Petra) who came over to us in the pool to have a go at us because we hadn’t showered before we got in. She was really awful. Everyone was looking, it was highly embarrassing and she was shouting at the children too (my 4 year old and my nephew who is 13 who is staying in the other apartment with my parents). We’re not mind readers, the rules weren’t told to us, we weren’t asked to read anything and there is no obvious rules for us to see in the apartment. There were security people at the pool watching everyone, telling people off. The president stands on his veranda with a walky talky most of the day. Absolutely abhorrent. I contacted the owner on day 1, he did not care and he argued the point. I have taken lots of photos so will try and upload them.

Nice stay
Just had a nice stay in Los Alcazares. Apartment is in a nice quiet, secure complex. Only minutes to walk to bars an restaurants. Gardens, pool etc immaculate. The only criticism I would make is the lack of an oven if you were planning to cook!

Apartment is in a great location for restaurants, supermarket and beach, which unfortunately we were unable to use due to previous flooding. The complex is excellent and well maintained. We would be happy to stay there again.

The apartment is lovely and situated on a well equipped secure complex with two lovely swimming pools. Location is perfect for both supermarkets, restaurants and the beach all within a short walking distance.

A great holiday home
First off we’d like to thank Martin for letting us stay in his beautiful apartment & making the whole booking procedure very relaxing. We were met at the airport by Neil (Linda the house managers husband) and he showed us all around the apartment and how everything works. More about Neil & Linda shortly. The apartment is beautifully furnished with lovely bright modern furniture. The tv has uk channels which is perfect for the kids. It works off the internet which Martyn kindly Sorted out for us prior to arriving. The kitchen has everything you need for meal preparations. The fridge freezer was great & held all our beer so it past the test! Ha ha. Our 8 year old daughter loved the 2nd bathroom which acted as a en suite for her twin room, so she thought she was all grown up! The double room was a good size with plenty of wardrobe space. Both rooms had great fans on the ceiling which kept us cool of an evening. We didn’t need the aircon on at all though. The balcony has lots of morning sun & overlooks the beautiful kept gardens & pool. So relaxing sat there at breakfast time. The El Divino complex is a fully gated so perfect for families with children. Everyone on the complex was very friendly & chatty. Hopefully we will meet a lot of them again next year if the dates are free..... It’s a 5 minute stroll or even less to the main square where all bars & restaurants are. There is a Lidl 5 minutes round the corner for all your shopping & the long sandy beach is less than 10 minutes walk away. Total bliss. Next we’d like to thank Linda & Neil.....Neil as it turned out was a life saver & without him my trip to Madrid to see my team win the champions league wouldn’t have been possible. The random kindness of someone we’d only met days earlier will stay with me forever & Neil knows how much I fully appreciated his kind gesture. Thank you to Linda for being totally cooperative in sorting everything out with Neil. I’ll never be able to thank both enough. Martyn thank you again for letting us stay at your brilliant apartment and we will definitely be coming back in the coming years. We really can’t tell you how great this complex/apartment is. Fantastic apartment.

Spacious and well appointed in a great location
Super apartment in a secure gated complex literally 3 or 4 minutes stroll to shops, bars , restaurants and a large supermarket, and only 5 minutes more to the beach. All the facilities you need are provided, there is a lovely pool (not heated) which will be great in summer, and the key holders (Linda and Neil) were very helpful and friendly. Plenty of free parking all around the development, and also in the small town of Los Alcazares. Very secure property for peace of mind, and the apartment was well decorated and clean. Highly recommended.

Lovely apartment clean, bright with everything we needed
Our apartment was centrally placed to 525 plaza. Here you could find all you need to eat or drink. Every place we went we were really looked after and made to feel welcome. Harry’s Bar was good to watch football as it had several screens. Rocco s was nice for a drink. The Thirsty Thistle had the last of the afternoon sunshine. The area was so flat making walks along the seafront perfect. I would recommend the area and the apartment and if we were to visit we’d definitely return.

September 2018. A nice apartment in a well kept gated complex.
Nothing negative to say about this apartment. It appears to have been recently decorated and the fridge/freezer, washing machine, microwave and iron all apppear to be quite new. The balcony is not very big but it does have a great view of the well kept gardens and the pool. The pool gets a lot of sun on it and as a result the water is quite warm. It is only a few minutes walk to the 525 plaza and numerous places to eat, ice cream bars and shops. A further few minutes and you reach the beach. There is a walkway which extends a long way in either direction for quite a distance with numerous beach bars etc. along the way. We used the pick up at the airport as we were not hiring a car on this occasion and that was excellent. Los Alcazares is a lovely place to have a relaxing break.

We recently spent 4 nights here. It was a lovely apartment, very clean and easy to access. The complex was peaceful and had a great pool and sun terrace. We were within easy distance of the restaurants and beach. Nice multicultural area everyone very friendly - thanks Martin
