I got charged $60 for cancelling when there was literally no parking in sight, not to mention the neighborhood looked sketch and my car risked getting broken in to.

convenient location, incredibly friendly staff, many amenities provided, comfortable and clean sleeping space. everyone within the house, guest or host was resentful and kind :) the parking wasnt ideal but that's no fault of their own. definitely recommend if you need a place to crash for the night

Clean & Friendly!

Very clean, host is very nice and it was easy to figure out. I’ve stayed in a few hostels here in LA and rarely have I extended my stay but I’ve stayed here another two nights beyond what I booked online. They offer breakfast and coffee, which is more than most. All in all, I’m very thankful I discovered Affordable Stay America!

I booked this only b/c I had limited options last minute for my price range. Small property in a bad, rundown neighborhood. Cramped rooms. Two bathrooms. Host couldn't be bothered to put handsoap in the bathrooms. I had to ask for soap. There was dog poop all over the small, shared backyard. Noisy place from the dog barking & residents slamming doors at all hours. Thin walls. Internet & big TV worked at least.

This was one of the worst experiences I have had at a property. There was residents who were smoking in the house, getting drunk and threatening my safety. I have it all on tape and had to call the police. He allowed those people to stay in the rental as if they are tenats now and not guest and did nothing to stop it and due to "arrangements" between the owner and the drunk women living there...additionally, he would kick ppl out at will, and will use the bible as a weapon, and not its intended use. Beware, its not worth it and he puts women in rooms with men all alone and will blame you...BEWARE.

Terrible customer service/no continental breakfest

Bad Experience. First of all continental breakfast is only frosted corn flakes. Not what id call a continental breakfast. Secondly i had to go to hospital and they admitted me. He has not accomidating at all. Since i was in hospital i could not pick up my bags so he said he would either get rid of them or charge me a $35 to keep them 1 day. This is not accomidating since i was in hospital unexpectedly. I had to have a friend drive 2 hours each way to pick them up. Not good. Its obviously all he is after is more nights and more money with zero care for customer service.
