Beware of Summer Holiday Stays or Hot Months
First of all this home is located right off noisy and busy PCH as well as a Dog Hotel! Yes, When the windows are open because the A/C is broken, you can hear dogs barking all morning as well as the nonstop traffic from the highway. In the summertime and or hot months, the place really only sleeps 4 because the room w the King bed only has a slider window and that is missing a screen so it cannot be opened or else bugs will enter the room as well as zero safety measures. We had to keep the windows open as well as the front door because the home was 81 degrees. Because of this we had pill bugs all over the floors. After a couple of hours of checking in there were ants in the kitchen as well. We were staying there for a wedding and thought it would be the perfect location close to the dinner rehearsal at Dukes and then wedding in Topanga Canyon. It was a very busy weekend for us and 4th of July weekend so it was impossible for us to relocate. It was very disappointing and we paid a lot to stay there. Beware! The place is not as described on listing. The host never told us the A/C was broken and it was an extremely hot weekend for us trying to get ready for wedding plus my husband has a medical condition so sleeping there was very uncomfortable. We asked for fans because it was impossible for us to relocate. As a VRBO host myself, I never would’ve let my guests deal with this kind of hospitality.

Pepperdine Graduation
We visited Malibu for the Pepperdine graduation. It is 5 minutes away from the school. The property is comfortable, clean, spacious, and minimalistic. The kitchen had everything we needed to make meals. The host was very responsive. You can see the ocean from the kitchen windows which means you can also hear the cars on the PCH. This was the perfect spot for us and would stay here again.

Everything as listed: ocean views, lovely patio/outside area, comfortable beds, clean kitchen. We were a group of friends staying in town for a local wedding. Easy to use rideshare to get around. Can hear PCH road noise.

Hosts were very communicative. They were able to allow us to get in early to decorate for a friends wedding celebration and birthday. Check in process was easy and directions to the house were clear and accurate! Overall house was clean. It was the perfect location to everything we needed. Checkout process was smooth. Again hosts were very kind!

Heater problem
The day we checked in t the heater in the house wasn’t working, temp range in the house was between 60-63 degrees it was freezing. I called and emailed the owner, later the second day it was repaired. Also, there were no trash cans, all trash bags had to be put in the front yard, disgusting, to say the least. Again, I contacted the owner (message only) and no action was taken.
