Located in Historic Highlands, a quiet Pasadena residential neighborhood two miles north of downtown Pasadena, this studio/loft has lots of charm and character. The neighborhood is great for walking with beautiful tree lined streets. The rental comes complete with exclusive use of outdoor dining area, swimming pool (unheated), fire ring, and heated spa.

Pasadena, located 9 miles north of downtown Los Angeles, is a vibrant city, rich in history and culture, and home to the world famous New Year’s Day Tournament of Roses. Spring break trip
The location of the house is great, beautiful quiet neighborhood but also close to many stores and restaurants. The house looked just like the pictures, the backyard is a great private space. My teenagers liked just hanging out and relaxing after long days out and about.

This place is a unique gem!
Stayed at the Polynesian Paradise with my family on a trip to the LA area. It’s a great location to be able to explore Pasadena and LA, but then have a quiet place to escape to and relax after a busy day. Plenty of room for the 4 of us and our boys really loved having their own space up in the loft. We would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful Pasadena cottage
Absolutely loved our stay. We came down south to celebrate a late Christmas with our adult children. This was the perfect setting to do just that. The backyard set up is hvery relaxing and felt very private. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again. Thank you for a wonderful weekend.

Wonderful rental, with great pool and spa
We loved our stay at Jama and Joanne’s rental. The pool and spa were fantastic, and we all really enjoyed them. The seating areas around the pool were also lovely. The accommodation was great for us (2 adults and 2 teens) and we found it very comfortable, and well equipped with everything we needed. The Hawaiian themed decor is great and adds a special feeling to the rental. We found the location great for spending quiet time by the pool and for heading out to see the sights. Thanks so much for a lovely stay!

Amazing Experience

Wonderful vacation
The accommodations were great, and as they appeared in the photos and description. The towels were clean and fluffy, the bedding was comfortable (we didn’t sleep on the futons), the kitchen was well-stocked, the fireplace downstairs was cozy, the spa was hot and relaxing, there was plenty of outdoor area to enjoy for swimming, eating and socializing. The host was very responsive and answered our questions promptly. The decor was fun! I would stay here again and recommend it to others.

Charming retro Hawaiian getaway
The collection of retro Hawaiian/Polynesian decor is amazing and we found it to be fun (but may be overwhelming to some). The private pool and lovely landscaped patio offer a relaxing space to hang out. The beds were comfy, the kitchen efficient, the host helpful with restaurant recommendations. It's a little challenging for an adult to sleep in the upstairs loft as the only bathroom is downstairs which requires using some stairs and going outside a few steps on the patio to access the entrance door.

Great tropical oasis
The house and yard match the photos and description perfectly. Any questions we had were answered quickly. House has everything you need for your stay.I felt like I was at home. Neighborhood is very nice and quiet. Yard amenities are very relaxing . House was very clean and spacious. Location was great for going to must tourist locations. Be prepared to think your are at a resort. I would definitely vacation here again.

We had a wonderful at this property! It is in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood. When we entered the gate, we felt transported to a tropical getaway. The house and pool are well maintained and clean. The owners responded when we had questions, and gave us space otherwise. The large shallow end was great for our family to play in, and the hot tub was a wonderful way to end the day!

Polynesian Paradise
My family and I stayed for 6 days and had a great time. Location was perfect to the Dodgers Stadium, Hollywood sign, Griffith Observatory and so many more. The quite neighborhood gave us a sense of safety for morning walks. There is a pool and hot tub on the property which gave us hours of entertainment when we just wanted to chill for a day. The loft was perfect for the kids to get away and the bed downstairs allowed my husband and I the opportunity to wake up, make coffee and not bother the kids. Thank you for your hospitality. Polynesian paradise
We were in town visiting our son. The rental is adorable and we enjoyed our stay. If you have ever been to Trader Vic's you may have a few flashback moments. The owner is a collector of all things Trader Vic’s; fun and whimsical! We enjoyed relaxing by the pool. The house is in Pasadena’s Historic Landmark District Bungalow Heaven filled with tree lined streets of lovely bungalows built from 1900-1930. The house was close to everything in Pasadena. Jama was a conscientious host checking in to make sure things were going smoothly. Overall an enjoyable stay.
