After reading some of the reviews, I was prepared for the worst, but this was a generally nice place to stay. The staff was helpful, the room was clean, my son and I enjoyed the pool + hot tub, and the location (while not ideal for anyone without a car), was pretty central with easy access to the I-5. For the price, I don’t think you can do much better.

Hotel itself is good for the price, not close to downtown so if you don't have a car it's a long bus ride. Provided shampoo and bar soap, which a lot of cheaper hotels don't. The only thing I didn't like was the pool didn't open until 10a, I wanted to go for a dip before I checked out.

It was in a comparable area for food choices if you have a car. The property itself was not the cleanest and parts of the building were dilapidated. The staff was not that friendly. The maintenance man was excellent.
