Rock formations showing off their striking red and brown hues rise from the rear of Los Arbolitos Beach. See hawksbill turtles roaming the sandy strand, whose bay contains a coral reef teeming with varied aquatic creatures. Bring snorkeling and diving gear to view the fish in the warm, clear water.

While you relax, your kids may enjoy swimming in the water or climbing over the rocks that adorn the beach. For a more active afternoon, play sports games in the shallow bay or hike up some of the rocky bluffs with your family.
Visit the beachside restaurant to enjoy a seafood meal against a scenic backdrop. You can also rent watersports equipment, such as snorkels and kayaks. Stroll along the red walkway that is elevated above the sand and capture photos of the mountainous landscape in the distance. The sunset beyond the horizon turns the tips of the mountains golden.
Travel around the tranquil region to encounter hidden beaches packed with sea lions. Notice the variety of blue hues in the crystal clear waters of the Gulf of California.
Use the restrooms and showers available on this beach. Pay a fee to access the palapas and use rental gear at the private bay. You can also go camping for a nightly charge and sleep beneath the stars.
Los Arbolitos Beach is in a remote bay in the southeastern corner of the Baja California Peninsula. Drive south from the town of Cabo Pulmo for about 3.5 miles (6 kilometers) to get here in 10 minutes. Leave your car in the parking lot. Visit some of the other nearby beaches, such as Playa Sirenas and Frailes Bay.
