This is a very nice boutique hotel. The staff is friendly and attentive. Food is excellent. Our room was nice to the road so it was a little noisy at times. We would prefer to have a coffee maker in our room and not have to walk to the front to get it. But , we would stay there again.

This hotel is a great homebase especially if you do not have a car, yet like to explore. It’s on the edge of the plaza, walkable to every little calle, shop, and restaurant in San Jose. Right away the staff makes you comfortable; Christian remembered my name when I returned days later to listen to music after the art walk. My room was large and well decorated and I particularly loved how my personal patio was outside yet behind my locked door. I felt safe as a solo traveler every moment I was at the hotel and in the town.

This was a great hotel for our first visit to San Jose del Cabo, it was right beside the town plaza which was great for Christmas and walking distance to several excellent restaurants. We will definitely stay here again in a return trip to San Jose del Cabo.

The attendants were amazing! Great people service through and through. They treated us so well that I almost feel bad reporting that the room we were given was not as I had expected given the photos on Expedia. The bed did not have a bottom sheet and the rest of the bed was poorly made. The only window it had faced a boring wall. The floors seemed dingy, mopped but dingy, like the grout needed scrubbing. Our balcony was shared with the next room, only partially divided by a reed screen which I did not become aware of until I heard someone speak on the other side and then realized I would not be able to have the door to the balcony or the curtains open. We were given a room in the top front part of the hotel which was great because we were in and out of it quickly for exploring the town but alas, there was a festival in the town square that night and the noise went on til approximately 10 or 11 pm. Not too bad but beware in case you need to go to sleep earlier. The pool was nice and clean and the towel service by the pool very convenient. We were received with an iced “agua de tamarindo” and a chilled wet facial towel which was very refreshing. Beautiful gesture! I’d go back if I got the opportunity to see some of the other rooms to check if they may be better appointed. Again, quality people to interact with.
