"Excellent place to stay in Cabarete. We appreciated the quietness while being surrounded by plenty of tropical plants and flowers. Does not have all the bells and whistles but I can honestly say, my wife and I did not need it. Accommodations were more than adequate. No dining available but you can walk to plenty of restaurants and bars on the beach. El Magnifico was a hidden gem because after a day on the beach/town, you felt like you was coming back to your private haven. "

"Stay was ok. Room was clean. A cleaning bucket with mop, broom and rag was left inside the room. No one cleaned the room while we were there. A lack of communication with us . Having to check in across the street and leave car parked a bit away was a hassle. Checking out and having to cross the busy street with lugging your stuff not ideal. A check out office should be incorporated into that building. "
