"Nice little hotel. Friendly staff. Rooms were clean. We were travelling with kids and were worried about the condition of this place on the way to this hotel. But when we reached, we’re pleasantly surprised. I’ll definitely stay there again."
"Very good customer service. Just a little difficult to stay at night during summer as no Air conditioning system in the room.
Good breakfast and overall service was nice"

"We had a wonderful stay at this gorgeous historic home. We were lucky to enjoy TWO town events that took place right beside the property: a Sunday market and a Friday evening concert. The latter wasn’t even audible once we turned in for the night because the walls are so thick! There were definitely some oddities in the house due to its age, but that’s to be expected. The kitchen was well appointed and we had all we needed for cooking and food prep. Overall, you couldn’t beat the location for its access to local breweries, a grocery store nearby and easy drives to nice hiking nearby. We also enjoyed day trips to Quebec City and Trois Rivières while there. We also got to just enjoy relaxing in the hammock and in the various sitting rooms with comfy couches. An ideal spot to explore all that la belle province has to offer. "
"We are frequent VRBO customers. The location was perfect for our purpose, and the home was peaceful with lovely surroundings and large sun-filled rooms. However, it appears to be owned by a company, with no homey touches, and poor management practices. Upon our arrival, there were a couple of issues that needed addressing. For example, the fireplace was not working, the welcome/instruction book was only provided in French and we understood and we understood “important” so we called the Concierge number provided, but no one spoke English and they hung up on us twice. We reached out via “message host” - we received auto-replies pomising to resolve, however, NO help was provided. We used the couch pullout and the carpet needed to be moved, the floors were filthy TV stand, so, we spent the first-hour cleaning and vacuuming. We left the carpet rolled up hopefully a proper cleaning will take place (photos and video were taken to give to the company for their files). Also, the couch bed looks well worn.NOTE: NO shampoo/body wash in showers and NO coffee - bring your own as stores are not convenient if late arrival, like our group. Improve communication, and update the property description indicating NO shampoo, body wash, and coffee are provided so be sure to BRING YOUR OWN (stores are not convenient especially if you arrive late), so, if these slight inconveniences were fixed, we would have no issue recommending this property."
"I have travelled numerous times to different places and this by far is the worst hotel I have been to. The sheets were dirty, there is no hot water, it feels unsafe, some of the bathrooms were shared that we did not know upon reserving (you have to pay extra for a private bathroom), lack of staff, you can here other guests talking outside the hallway to your bedroom. I don’t mind a hotel being old, I think it gives it a character, but was expecting it to be a little bit more well managed or at least clean and safe for a more pleasant experience. For some reason, I can feel a negative energy in this place and it looks so gloomy. If we had a choice, we would have left the place in a heartbeat even without refund but everywhere else around the area was either sold out or $1000 a night at Quebec City. Like what the other review had said, it feels like a Ghost hotel. Reminds me of The Nun movie. 😁 Goodluck. "
