"If you are looking to stay on the Potomac River / Chesapeake Bay, look no further you have found the spot! Lien was an amazing host, very communitive and super helpful with any and all questions. The property is stunning with a huge yard to play. The sunroom made for a wonderful spot to sit and watch a summertime thunderstorm while playing board games. "beautiful property, fun water activities and very peaceful. The neighbor to the right (if looking at the house from the front) was very rude…luckily he was only home for one day of the trip! There was not enough paddles for the kayaks other then that it was a perfect stay! The host was very tentative and super nice!"

"The Rivah House is our favorite place to be. The location is perfect; close to the local towns but yet secluded with just a few nearby neighbors. It's great for our family. We have two little boys and they love finding seaglass, fishing from the dock, and playing in the yard. "Very nice place. Plenty of room. Only problem we had was when we (4 adults and 4 kids) arrived at 9 pm there was only about 1/4 roll of toilet paper in one bathroom and none in the other bathroom. Thank goodness we knew someone local who could help us otherwise it would have been 40 minute drive to a store to buy some. Next time I’ll be sure to bring some."

"We had the best stay in this cottage. My 7 year old son spent all day on the beach/in the river enjoying swimming, kayaking and boogie boarding! I loved that he didn't have to sacrifice his playtime for my daughter's nap time or anything because the beach was literally in the backyard!! "We stayed here for a wedding for our son. Our first interaction was with Ray, who is simply a delight to speak with. If you ever book this property, make sure to bring up baseball with Ray. The home is awesome. The pictures do not do this property justice. The backyard by thr creek is just wonderful. We took advantage of the kayaks. Overall a great stay. "Beautiful house bringing nostalgia with modern amenities; love the books, game room, showers, large kitchen, luxurious beds, colors and patterns in the interior. Gorgeous hydrangeas and magnolias and birds abundant. Dock was perfect, hopped in kayak and paddled several times a day. Easy! Fished and crabbed, even took Tangier Island cruise for boating bike riding and lunch. Really had everything! Hard to leave!"
