Disliked: Cleanliness, amenities, property conditions & facilities
Six of us stayed in this property in December 2023, and although there was plenty of space, the condition of the property was not as described or advertised.
Firstly, unlike the 2/3 bathrooms as advertised on Expedia, the property only has one shower and one toilet. The toilet is in a cupboard-sized 'room', directly in front of a door with a window. And so privacy is a big issue here! The shower was clearly leaking, and has/is currently leaking into the games room below - staining and rotting the ceiling.
At one point, the front door locked us all inside. We had to exit the house using a door that led to a neighbour's property, and re-enter from the outside; which raised a lot of security concerns.
The bedding was old, stained, and did not smell fresh. Rooms were dusty, with cupboard doors in the upstairs bedroom leading into attic rooms covered with spider webs and dust.
Utilities were outdated, and paint/wallpaper was peeling off in places. The pool table was shoddy, with weak cues and a small table. The whole house needs a renovation!
Overall, we were very shocked that a property this size only has one shower and one toilet. Also, for such a high price - the quality of utilities, cleanliness, and overall experience was very disappointing. Take the professional-looking photos with a pinch of salt!
