"Fabulous week in the Dordogne based at this property - very rural and quiet but lots of lovely towns and Chateau’s and other things to see and do in the region so you will need a hire car to get around. The Gîte is superbly welcoming and comfortable - has everything you need for your stay. Craig and Caroline are fantastic hosts too, full of great advice beforehand when planning your stay and also on hand if needed while there. If I could 6 stars here I would! "

The House is situated in the very well kept village of Capdrot and only a 5 minute drive to the lovely old town of Monpezzier ( which is deffinatly worth a visit on thursdays which is Market day). There are no frills but the layout of the house was perfect for 2 families and it is spotlessly clean and well equipped with everything you need. "We loved staying on the farm. The house was large and spotless, hosts incredibly helpful. Our 3 and 5 year olds boys loved it too! The only thing to note for other guests (that is very usual in France) is that you need to bring your own bedding, this isn’t explicitly called out on the listing. Would definitely stay again! "
