Short trip
We went Louisville for a couple days to get away. The home had everything we needed. It was cozy and comfortable. It was too cold to spend much time outside but there is a nice deck and fire pit. My only complaint is that the couch is not comfortable, practical or sturdy. Other than that everything was wonderful. Thank you!

Nice but needs more
This place is what you call cozy, for our short stay it served its purpose. I would recommend this place for 2 adults and a couple of kids, but 4 adults in this place was a little tight. I would recommend bringing your own lawn chair so you have a comfortable place to sit.ProsTowels ACLocationNeighborhood/NeighborsFridgeConsNo room to sit and relax, the "couch" is a cheap mini loveseat that has no back and feels like it could break at any time. After spending the day out and about, there is no where to sit down and relax.Very minimalistic, maybe this is a new listing and hasn't been rented out a bunch.Kitchen table is small, very cramped for 4 adultsThe front door has an automatic lock that locks in 5 seconds, you have to keep entering a code to unlock the door just to shut it.The deck is nice and large, the chairs though had a ton of cat hair all over them so you couldn't sit down in them.

Dog friendly!
We were in town from Ohio for a dog show at the Kentucky Exposition Center. We brought an adult greyhound and a puppy. The house is very dog friendly in that there is no carpeting and the back door exits directly into a small fenced in back yard. Everything was very clean. The beds were great. There were plenty of bath towels. The appliances are all new. The TV's were wonderful! The listing said there was a grill. We brought our own charcoal and food to cook out but couldn't find the grill anywhere. I tried to clean up my pets waste as best I could but the grass was very high and it seems that previous guests didn't clean up after their own. There are chairs outside and a nice fire pit that was stocked with wood but the weather wasn't nice enough for us to enjoy it. The neighbors were very nice. It was easy to get around town. The street is kind of narrow and parking for several of the houses is on the street. While we were there the neighborhood was very quiet. The front bedroom ceiling fan is loud and the room needs a blind on the window. These are pretty minor things. We'd definitely stay again!

We were looking for something more comfortable than a motel room for the Bourbon and Beyond Festival 2024.
Hey there! Linda's house is an absolute hidden gem! It's an older house that has been wonderfully renovated with brand-new appliances, beautiful marble floors, and cozy bedrooms. There's a 2-car driveway in the back and plenty of street parking in front on a quiet street. It was the perfect place to stay for the festival in Louisville. Linda really went out of her way to make us all feel welcome and appreciated. We'll definitely be back!

The VRBO was absolutely perfect!!
We could not have asked for a better location or a nicer neighborhood to stay in! The neighbors brought us fresh vegetables from the garden and we enjoyed a few nice evenings in the back porch! It’s a perfect place for a nice get away! The property owners were phenomenal! We loved meeting them and having the chance to get to know them!
