"Probably my fault but I didn't realize deposit had to be in cash. So had to scramble to find ATM to get $300. Then checking out they doubled the cleaning fee on us. They didn't provide toilet paper or dish soap and had to go to the store to buy some. Would have been nice to know there was no toilet paper before going to the bathroom."

"La Maison des Greves is a lovely property, ideal for either a relaxing break or as the focal point for visiting the many historic sites which the area has to offer. "The property is not as shown in photos on website. These photos are from several years ago and do not reflect it’s current state. It is very tired and in need of an update. For the price paid I would not expect to arrive and have bed sheets that were many years old (they were clean), a broken toilet seat and a dirty barbecue! Whilst the village is very rural there is nothing there so please ensure you stock up on supplies."

A great place to visit and rest!

"Our stay was for 2 nights. The room was nice & warm in 30 degree weather. The bed was comfortable and the room was great for what we needed. We opted in for breakfast and it was as delicious as last time. The parking was less expensive since last time we visited in March and parking rates vary. This time it was 28 Euro 14 Euro per day. The free shuttle is great to get us to the mountain. We will be back again in the future for a third trip!"

"When staying on the island, it is incredible walking around late at night or early in the morning where the shops are closed and the town is empty of people. The town is magical. Watching the tide roll in or out is impressive, as there is a 20km shoreline from high and low tides. "
