"On arrival check in was actually at a desk near side of the main bar area in the main pub/restaurant area not at a reception desk as shown on hotel pictures within in the hotel itself. limited staff at check in due to same staff also running the bar/restaurant customers, then unexpected on arrival never mentioned prior on the booking was then greeted with a £50 extra payment charge to pay before proceeding any further due to recent damage/theft at the hotel, which was quite a knock back but...

Complementary biscuits, chocolate and drinks were a nice added touch. Customer service was okay but could have been a bit more friendly. We took our dinner back to the room, t would have been nice if it could have bleed delivered though. Overall a nice stay"
