"We really enjoyed our stay at Waratah. The rooms were clean and the meals wonderful. The Bischoff is easy walking around the town and we were lucky enough to spot a platypus or two in the nearby lake. Check out the local waterfall lit up at night. Great location! "

"Hubby and I opted for a cabin stay, it was everything we were hoping for. Verandah overlooking trees, seeing different types of bird and listening to nature was the relaxing get away we needed. There are walking trails around the lodge where you can see watwr flows, wombats, wallabies and some snow along the water beds. We'd definitely stay here again."

"The property is huge with several cabins. It was quite organized and clean in general. I can understand the water in the tap in general is not drink quality. But not having even one water filter, which of course the facility can surely afford but a big shock. They could have at least bothered to have a filter water tap for drinking water and let people know before hand so people could arrange drinking water before travelling, it would have been great."

"The location was great near to cradle mountain and caves. Local wildlife was also good. The cottage needs a bit more light in the kitchen, there is only one light for kitchen dining and living area. One light in the kitchen area would help with meal preparation and dishwashing."
