"The owner was very kind and friendly. He let us check in early and on the day we checked out, he let us leave our bags in the reception and watched them for us. The downside to this place is its cleanliness and facilities. There were cobwebs, spiders, and other insects. The sheets and towels didn't look very clean. The bathroom was also not that great. I think I would have been okay with the lack of cleanliness if it were cheaper. The cost was mid-level, but the cleanliness was that of a cheap...

"Loved this place! All the staff, especially sweet Kim, were so kind, thoughtful, and helpful. The rooms and common areas are all super clean. The beds were even comfortable -- a rarity in SE Asia (so many old mattresses!). There is free breakfast ever morning with fruit, coffee or tea, juice, and your choice of menu items, including bread and jam for us vegans. Close enough to everything you need without being TOO close (I wouldn't want to stay right on the night market street, for example)....
