"We enjoyed our stay at Albergo Celide. The staff was friendly and a great help in setting us up with bikes that we were able to use for the full day to ride around the city. We were grateful to be able to check in at the last minute after having to leave a awful hotel that we were originally booked in by Travelodeals."

"The location right next to the train station is so convenient (couple blocks to the walled portion of the city). The staff appears to be a family, super cute and helpful. Rooms are pretty large. The beds were maybe not the best but we'd totally stay here again given all the other benefits. Breakfast was delicious and varied with many options. This hotel is a gem!"

"Beautiful 15th century villa , with manicured grounds . Restaurant was excellent, but rather expensive . Bfst was excellent. 4 km out of Lucca on Busy highway , so couldnt walk into town . Partially offset by a bus route appropriately 600 meters from property. Enjoyed walks in the countryside. Loved our stay overall !!"

"We had an amazing holiday at Hotel Hambros. The staff, the pool, the location, the breakfast and restaurant. Guido and Stefania at the front of house went above and beyond to help us and Susan by the pool was a ray of sunshine every day and couldn’t do enough for us. If we had any type of problem or question or concern everyone was quick to be of service to us and help us out. No problem was to big and we were made to feel so welcome. We will definitely be coming back again. "

"I got really lost finding the right bus and Giacomo was really helpful and eventually came to pick me up in his car, which was fabulous as I was tired and with a big bag. The house is a lovely old house and the room was clean and perfect with an ensuite. Giacomo gave me information about where to go to eat and I went to Leo’s nearby where they cut slices of pizza at whatever size you like which is a great idea. "This was a beautiful property situated between Pisa and Lucca. It’s an older hotel but all of the amenities including air conditioning were good. Amazing pool area and loungers and you can run down to the lobby to get drinks and other snacks. "The property, rooms and surrounding gardens are just wonderful. Picturesque and very peaceful. The rooms are stunning. Only thing we missed was any guidance, signs etc to point to reception and breakfast area. It's a little search and find.
