We enjoyed our stay very much. We enjoyed a well-appointed room, comfy beds, and a beautiful view overlooking the lake and river. The surrounding mountains are majestic and the town remarkably quaint considering its popularity. April is an excellent month for a visit to Lucerne.

WOW I mean the views from this place cannot be beat. You absolutely MUST request a river facing room (you can see the beautiful snow capped mountains of Pilatus on a clear day). It is worth every penny. Additionally, your stay gets your a visitors pass with discounted rates on transport throughout the city. The staff was incredibly helpful and kind as well. We will DEFINITELY be coming back!

Wonderful trip! The receptionist was amazing! She was very sweet and helpful. She took our picture when we were looking out from our balcony. We had an excellent room with amazing views of chapel bridge. It appears as though they updated the rooms and were continuing to do so. Very happy with the hotel and our room!

I had a great 3 night stay here! The front desk staff is extremely sweet and helpful. It was the perfect location, and very quiet even though it is right in the center of town! The only negative about the room is the heat doesn’t work that well. I am vegan and unfortunately the restaurant only offers vegetarian options, please consider adding a few vegan options especially for people with allergies! Overall I loved my stay here and I would definitely recommend it to others.

We had an amazing stay at Des Alpes Luzern, and we can't recommend it enough! The location is absolutely perfect, situated right in the heart of everything Luzern has to offer. It’s just a 5-10 minute walk to plenty of fantastic restaurants, great shopping, and the main train station—making it incredibly convenient for sightseeing and exploring the city. The staff truly stood out during our stay. They were attentive, professional, and friendly, always going the extra mile to ensure we felt welcome and comfortable. Loved the view from our balcony. The shopping and restaurants were great. The staff were so kind and helpful. The bed provided for a great sleep as well. The Christmas Markets were also fun and really get you into the spirit.
