"Aufgrund der zentralen Lage im Grünen Herzen Deutschlands haben haben wir das Haus für ein Treffen mit unseren Kindern und Enkeln gewählt. 8 Erwachsene, zwei Teenager, 2Kleinstkinder. Mit der Verteilung der Schlafplätze sollte man sich im Voraus auseinandersetzen, wenn das Haus voll belegt wird. Ansonsten war alles vorhanden was man für ein Ferienhaus benötigt. Die Aussicht ins Tal ist sehr schön. Leider gab es einige Defekte im Haus. In zwei Zimmern waren die Fensterscheiben beschädigt, so das man die Fenster nur mit Vorsicht öffnen konnte. Schloss Weissenburg - misleading pictures

"I chose this hotel due to its idyllic look & since I was traveling with 4 colleagues, they all booked here too. On arrival, found out you don’t stay in the schloss, rather a very unattractive side building, freezing cold, tiny room. The restaurant was closed, another reason I had chosen this hotel was because it had a restaurant, nobody told us it would be closed. Very poor. The service was friendly at breakfast & that’s my reason for ranking this at okay. The lady was lovely & made our start to each day a pleasant one ."

No sound issues from rooms next door or above (we were ground floor). Great shower! But no tea/coffee facilities in room. The usual wonderful buffet breakfast. Adequate evening meal but then chose to eat out in the evening for the other two nights; wanted to experience more. Didn’t use Spa or swimming pool; too much to do and see elsewhere in the vicinity to include in our three night stay. "
