"It was centrally located and the rooftop was great for drinks/dinner the first night upon arrival. The rooftop has a great view of the city. We had drinks there several times during our stay. The breakfast was very good. One in our group needed dairy free/vegan. They were better than most places, and there was a section identified on the menu, but she thought the options were limited. Overall, a very good experience!"

"Lovely hotel. Really well situated and just across the road from the airport bus. And a beautiful park. On a busy shopping street (but with none of the noise, at least not in our room which was on the second floor and facing into a courtyard). Breakfast was lovely with a good choice, high ceilings and nice features. Comfy bed. Would recommend. Only downside is that there is no lift so be prepared to carry luggage up the stairs. "

"Interesting property with unique decor. My room had a view of a beautiful church building. Location is perfect, just a few steps from Etnea Road which is a very long street with lots of shops and restaurants. Room was clean enough and the bed was comfortable. "Airone is a beautifully designed hotel in a great location. The staff (especially Valeria and the young woman with the blue eyes and curly blond hair at reception) were wonderful, patient and helpful. Also the ladies who were making the food were very sweet. All the staff were very nice. My room was a bit dusty when I arrived. Dust on the bedside tables and on the fridge. It wasn't as clean as I would have liked. Some area carpet rugs would be nice to absorb the echoes of the people in the hall....

"The property has to be considered within the price, which is the lowest I paid in Sicily. For that it is reasonable. The owner is very friendly and helpful. There was parking which I appreciated. But, the place was quite run down - mould and flaking paint etc. No breakfast, and the closest shop you have to walk on a terrifying road with no pavement where you think every car might run you down. But, the price is certainly fair. Best for solo travellers."
