"Great stay in Thibodaux for Christmas to visit family. The home is older and rustic, with lots of character and many original features. We looked it up and found it to be built in 1908. It was VERY clean, nicely decorated and filled with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Kitchen has everything you need. Plenty of extra towels and bedding. "The house was so clean and cozy and had everything we could want: comfortable beds, lots of pillows and blankets, soft & fluffy bath towels, a well-stocked kitchen, and lots of room to spread out. We felt safe with the security system and keypad locks and appreciated having the garage to park our car overnight. The host was very good at communicating with us and providing all the info we would need for our stay. We hope to stay again when we are back in town. "

"We certainly enjoyed our stay. The views and the bird watching off the back deck are certainly entertaining. We were even lucky enough to see an alligator one morning. I wish we hadn't been so busy with football in Baton Rouge, so we could have enjoyed the property even more. A return visit is a must! The town of Vacherie is so precious. We met lots of great people, especially at DJ's Grill (we went there twice). Thank you for letting us stay at your unique home."

"Great location for convenience of dining and shopping. Very close to the Expo. Cleanliness of bathrooms was not appropriate for a VRBO. There were stains on bedding and only fitted sheet (no flat) on master bed."
