"The property is situated right on the bank of the river Nile and our room had a view of the river. The roof top restaurant also overlooked the Nile. The room itself was large but very basic containing only a queen size bed and 1 small bedside cabinet. There was a closet to hang clothes. The bathroom had 1 of those folding doors which was off its track. No soundproofing there, you can hear people talking at all hours and chairs being pushed back. The food there is superb. We had a soup there which was brought from another place and we waited minimum 1 hour for it, and this was the worst soup we ever had. We also didn’t have a good experience with the sisha. "This guesthouse is in a quiet and peaceful setting with beautiful views of the nearby temple complex and quaint village life. However this place has many drawbacks. First of all it is very hard to find; no taxi driver knows where it is and there isn’t even a sign. Second, we had two rooms and neither shower worked.
