Cute little house in Lynchburg
Beautifully decorated! it was cold, heating system worked good! Good beds! Furnishing coffee , teas and hot chocolate a plus! This house is very old , owner has done well to make it so inviting! The only drawback is the front porch is somewhat of a hazard and there was loud shouting outside late on Friday night we were there which made us feel uncomfortable!

This home was very comfortable and inviting. Plenty of room for 4 of us and a dog. The home was well stocked and my favorite was the Keurig! I wish more VRBOS would have them! Thank you! Hopefully we will be back again!

Traveling through to Historic Sites
The house had charming attributes (historic), which we love, however, the plaster/foundation is in need of repair. Cracks along the walls are very visible and one side of the front room "leans". The kitchen was cozy and clean, and the amenities such as coffee, tea, sugar, honey...were very much appreciated. The bedrooms were also very comfortable. Similar to another review, spiderwebs were found on both the front porch and back window- in addition to paw prints on the front door. The outside spaces were not very inviting. The host was very responsive to a request, which made our stay much more enjoyable.

Comfy, nice. Bed could havd been a little bit firmer and lower to the ground in the room closest to the street. When you adjust yourself in the bed, the entire bed moves with you. Plumbing needs fixed. Water in sink and tub does not drain well. I reported it to the host, she said she would have it looked at. My son said that the back room he slept in was nice, but the house was sometimes humid.

Close to University of Lynchburg
Adorable cottage with everything you could need. Beautifully decorated with comfortable beds. This home has lots of charm from years past. Lots of wildlife too. We saw deer and a groundhog several times during our stay. The location was less than a mile to Lynchburg’s field hockey field and centrally located near downtown for restaurants. If staying I. Lynchburg, would recommend this property.
