Great stay
The house was beautiful, spotlessly clean, spacious and perfect for a big group. Lynton is a lovely place. Recommend Charlie Fridays just down the hill for pizza and cocktails nights and the spicy mare for delicious Indian food. We’d definitely return. Many thanks

Great Birthday Celebration
My friends and I had a wonderful stay at Higher Croft House. The property was beautiful, lovely and clean and stunning views. Great for hosting a joint 30th birthday. A great kitted out kitchen, big dining table, big fridge and freezer, appreciated the speaker so we could all enjoy some music, that was a nice touch, and loved spending time in the beautiful garden too. Near the sea, loads of sweet shops and cafes and great walks. All the rooms and beds were lovely and comfortable but the sofa bed wasn’t the best for two of our guests. Felt like they got the short straw, which was a shame. Constructive criticism would be to replace with double bed / more comfortable sofa bed for optimum stay for everyone. We did struggle to effectively tidy up after ourselves. One bin bag, no obvious recycling measures and hardly any dishwasher tablets / washing up liquid. Very small issues though, just some suggestions to make 100%! Didn’t take away how beautiful and pleasant the house was. Would recommend to anybody.

lovely and spacious house
There were nine of us staying, and we loved the house. It was really clean and comfortable, with all the facilities you might want. The kitchen is fabulous - we cooked many family meals. We had not realised beforehand that there is quite a steep walk up to the house, and this would be good to make clear if anyone has mobility restrictions. It's in a great location, and we really enjoyed our stay.

Had a wonderful week at this lovely property- spacious, stylishly restored and spotless. Fab location- perched over Lynton with stunning views of the sea and hills and yet only 2 mins into the centre. Would love to return.

Perfect for a family break
This house is in a lovely location within walking distance of all that Lynton has to offer by way of shops, restaurants and sights. It is also a lovely walk (if a little steep!) down to Lynmouth or alternatively you can use the railway. The house itself is spacious, well furnished and stocked with everything you would need for a family break. The only downside is there is only one bathroom. We had a lovely family break!

Amazing house in lovely Lynton
This house is absolutely stunning and a great place for 2/3 families to stay. We went with our disabled son in a wheelchair and just about managed everyday up the hill. The view and house make up for the steep climb up which you will have in any house in Lynton. Thank you
