Most of the things were fine. Place was clean. Convenient to alot of things. The only complaint I had and communicated to the staff was that there was no hot water in the shower. I was compensated with a free breakfast.

This isnt a 5 star hotel, but the room was comfortable and clean. Good breakfast. Horrible dinner. They do not have an english language tv chanel, which would have been nice. Staff was fantastic. Always cheerful and helpful.

Beautiful hotel, with elegant charm and wonderful staff. In the heart of an active part of Lyon with lots of shopping, restaurants and walkability. Small but well-appointed room, comfortable bed, nice shower. Very nice breakfast buffet. Staff was friendly, efficient and welcoming.

the staff is wonderful and the location is perfect. the primary reason for the rating is the AC - it was almost not working - had to be moved 3 times and even then had only marginally working AC - they are also redoing the hallways and stairwells - so much construction.

No telephone in room. Safety issue.
Very good but no telephone in the room and phone by the elevator did not work. Told later phone was replaced but was not. Safety issue if we would have had an emergency. Also safe box in room was not bolted in. Left our passports at front desk and when we returned back after change of shift the new person who was nice didn’t know how to get them and finally was able to reach the last person and got them but anxious about same as we had an early train and we became anxious knowing if we could get them by morning.

Great small hotel that needs a bit of a refresh
Great location and friendly, helpful staff. Rooms are looking a bit worn and tired, especially for the price, and the selection of TV channels in English was poor. The onsite bar and restaurant is good. The location is excellent, close to metro and bus options, as well as shopping and restaurants. If you are not going to spend much time in your room, this is an ideal place to stay in Lyon.

You can't ask for a better location in Lyon. It is right in the heart of the city, easy walking distance to everything. The staff and hotel are extremely friendly and helpful. Terrific breakfast in the morning. The facilities themselves have a fun, old-hotel feeling to them, and I enjoyed how it didn't feel like a chain hotel. Highly recommend a stay!

Absolutely phenomenal staff. Beautifully updated rooms but still felt classic. We had the base level room but it was still fairly spacious for European standards. Bathroom was excellent. Absolutely would stay again.
