Le Phenix Hotel

4.0 star property
8.8 out of 10, Excellent, (1047)
"A fabulous small boutique hotel in a great central location for visiting major sights in Lyon. Hotel was clean , welcoming and tasteful . It is an " on demand " hotel as the staff put it so if you want water or kettle you have to request them and go and get them from reception. No frills or extras in the room , no slippers , dressing gown or fridge nor did we have a mirror in the room only one head and shoulders standard mirror in the bathroom which was a minor irritation. Room was large, with...

Collège Hôtel

4.0 star property
8.4 out of 10, Very good, (674)
"Decorated like an old school, this place had charm! They provided tea and coffee in the rooms and offered wine service for when you arrived for an extra charge. I also had difficulty getting a hold of a tour company I booked through and the hotel staff called them throughout the day until they got back to me. It was incredible and a huge stress reliever. They allowed us to explore the city without worries. It was also walking distance to the old ruins of a church and the cathedral. It was...

Le Petit Tramassac

9.4 out of 10, Exceptional, (40)
"The apartment was in a perfect location to explore the old town, as well as being only a short walk from the metro and bridges to other parts of the city. It was easy to check in and out. The apartment itself was a wonderful, comfortable haven to return to after a day of exploring. It was good having the kitchen and a washing machine available. Not a problem for me but do be aware that it is up almost 60 steps, some of them quite steep, if mobility is an issue. "

"Nice hotel, good location ,friendly staff . Loved the club room offering juice andntea, coffee all day long and nibbles. Room is okay, but very minimalist. The bed was very low. The bathroom with glass wall isnodd, not much privacy, and you enter through the shower...very odd. But at the end good value for money. "
