Beautiful view but terrible experience
Beautiful view from the porch but that is where our good experience ended. The first thing that happened was mouse feces covering the entire lower level of the house. Description of queen bed/futon was inaccurate. It was a pull out sofa covered in mouse feces. Air mattress had a hole in it so we had to go buy one just to have space for our kids to sleep. No Air conditioning at all. It was 90+ degrees F when we were there so it was very uncomfortable to sleep. The floors were very dirty and sticky. There was marijuana paraphernalia in a door easily accessible by children. We had to set mouse traps and clean up mouse droppings daily. No hand towels upstairs for bathroom. The description of how long it takes to drive to the nearby towns was also underestimated except for Lyons. Estes park is about 40 minutes away not 20. It was a very unfortunate experience because it is a beautiful house but it is being mismanaged. The property owner was responsive in handling the situation however it still put a huge damper on our vacation.

Wonderful stay
We enjoyed the home and the beautiful view and communication with the owner was seamless. We got about 8" of snow while we were there and were very pleased to see that snow plows came by regularly.

Wonderful!
We recently had a quick trip out to Colorado over Thanksgiving week. This is the second time we have stayed at this house and it was just as amazing as we remembered it. My kids loved the hot tub and I enjoyed relaxing on the porch with my wife. We absolutely love this house and the little town of Lyons. We look forward to staying again in the near future!

We had an amazing stay at Will’s house! The sunsets and sunrises were incredible. The peace and quiet was so serene. Comfy beds, great kitchen, so relaxing!! Will stay again!

Stay outside Lyons
Although the house is a 15-minute drive from Lyons, the surroundings are beautiful, and the house offers great views. The kitchen was well-supplied with cooking equipment, and the hot tub was relaxing after a day of hiking or sightseeing. The downstairs bed was much too soft for our liking, and we could have used more instruction on operating the key-code lock (when to push the lock button and how long to hold it). The house was spacious and comfortable, though, and we would stay there again.

Amazing Mountain Views
Beautiful home, great place to stay with family and we truly enjoyed it. It is actually about 40 minutes from Estes Park but it was ok because of the views. We recommend this house if you plan to make your stay in this home a highlight of your visit. It is too far for those looking for quick access to RMNP. Summer months may be a little warm inside during the day.

Our stay was amazing!! The house was very clean with everything you need, my family felt comfortable. It has stunning and relaxing views, we feel very pampered and with privacy. Perfect for Family Stays
We rented this nice home due to easy access to Stone Mountain Lodging and Event center where my daughters wedding was taking place. It is only about 10 minutes to the event center so it was very convenient. The views from this home are spectacular both during the day and night. The kitchen was well equipped for making meals for larger gatherings. Bear in mind that this home does not have air conditioning. We were there over Labor Day weekend and it was very hot but we managed to keep the inside temperature bearable by using the blinds and fans. Overall it is a comfortable home with beautiful views. Highly recommend.

Amazing mountain getaway!
Beautiful property! Close to Lyons! Will & team were fantastic! My friends from Minneapolis loved being nestled in the mountains, and seeing the wildlife! Breezy nights were great in the hot tub over looking the gorgeous mountain side and valley! Highly recommend!

Lovely family reunion
We had a wonderful family reunion in Lyons. We stayed at the house and the rest of our clan was 10 min down the mountain at Stone Mountain lodge. We hosted 3 different family dinners during the week at our house comfortably for 19 family members. The house is huge and well equipped for a family gathering.. Love this place! We were the toast of the reunion!

Stunning breathtaking views
We had a wonderful stay at this is beautiful home that truly has the best view we could have imagined. My only complaint is we didn't get to spend enough time there as we were in town for our son's wedding and most of our time was preoccupied. We desperately want to come back again and just relax. You won't want to leave this place. The drive coming up the road leading to the house is rough but totally worth it when you see this place. ❤️

Mountaintop views -- spacious rooms
We stayed here during our daughter's wedding in Lyons and it was perfect for our family. Much more spacious than the photos can show, which worked out great for our group. Two living room areas, a huge kitchen/breakfast room, huge deck overlooking the mountain valley below, spacious bedrooms with comfortable beds. Extremely private and quiet. The road leading up to the property is a bit rough, so take it slow!

A Wonderful Experience
This is such a wonderful property in every way. The location is outstanding, with breathtaking views yet easy access to nearby Lyons and Estes Park. The kitchen was so nice, and we were able to cook great meals for ourselves. The hot tub was a wonderful way to relax after a day exploring Rocky Mountain National Park. And the communication with the property owners was so smooth! They were wonderful. If you get a chance to stay here, do it!

Beautiful home with breath taking views!
We had a wonderful time staying at this home! Came in town for a wedding with 6 adults and a 9 month old. The house accommodated all of us very comfortably. Every room has beautiful views of the mountains. Kitchen was well stocked with anything needed for cooking. Recommend staying here and we will be back!

Nice but can be HOT inside.
The property wasn't as clean as we had liked. The beds were comfortable, and morning coffee on the deck was very pleasant. The weather during our stay was very hot, and this home does not have AC. Sleep was very restless due to the home not dropping below 75 overnight (85 inside during the day). The listing did not specifically state no AC, however this wouldn't have impacted our decision. Just beware that July and August can be very uncomfortable in this home.
