Hospitality/friendliness is a -0-: manager displayed no grasp of friendliness or guest-service. "Breakfast" is a granola bar! Rooms are "clean," but attention to detail is crappy: smoke detector for my room was in a credenza drawer and had no battery, my shower curtain was badly worn & cracked, moldy coffee had been left in the pot in my sister's room. I will NOT stay there again.

I booked a non-smoking room. I had no idea for this Super 8 Motel that a non-smoking room meant a room that no one had smoked in that day or week. When I got into my room there was a musky smell, but I thought I could handle that since I knew that the building was older. Besides the rate for the room for one night was good. But as it turns out not good enough. When I got ready for bed and pulled the covers back to get in, there was suddenly the smell of cigarette smoke that filled the room. When I got into the bed the smell got worse. And it seemed that the more I walked about the room that the smell was also coming up out of the carpet. I should have gotten out of the room, but I was tired and was only there for one night. But by the morning I couldn't get the smell out of my hair, off my body, or out of my clothes. I spent the rest of the day after checking out apologizing to those around me for the cigarette smell. So, when you promise a non-smoking room be sure to tell the guest that this means that no one has smoked in it that day. I will never again go back to this hotel or any Super 8 Motel / Hotel. And trust me I am sharing this story with everyone who has asked me how my trip was.
