Room was a shoe box without even anywhere to hang a coat, i booked this hotel because it says its on the Gran Via, but actually a street behind and right at the bottom, was clean and warm but for €290 per night the rooms are tiny

The front staff was nice and welcoming. The problem was the room. It was extremely small-and I’ve stayed at other European hotels that are also small and/or boutique hotels. The shower was so small and water would pour into the toilet area. Amenities were limited as well. The walls were paper thin, you could hear other rooms bathing or going to restroom, making sleep difficult.

The location of the hotel is excellent. Gran Viá is 200m away. Plaza España is 300m away. The staff is super friendly and very helpful. I would definitely stay there again.
