Lovely hotel in the city center, yet quiet because it’s off a side street. Excellent service, friendly hotel staff. Room was comfortable and well appointed. Great location with easy access to Gran Via shopping and restaurants. The only minor downside: the gym could be larger with more equipment.

Overall: Beautiful hotel super close to the Opera, Palace and Gran Via shopping district, all within a 5-min walk. Staff was extremely courteous, warm, and on more than one occasion went out of their way to make it easy for us. A grade for the staff!! Family room: We got the Family Room with 2 beds since we were traveling with the kids. It was very small and was on the top floor with those slanted ceilings. Both my wife and I hit our heads multiple times during our stay, it is very hard to walk around the room with the two beds and not hit your head!! Moreover, the slanted ceiling makes the room feel very claustrophobic. I wouldn’t rent it unless you’re shorter than 5 feet! Great breakfast in the mornings, with a variety of choices in the made-to-order menu along with a neat buffet spread. We practically ate only 2 meals a day during our 3-day stay — a full breakfast and an early dinner. Again, loved our stay because of location, staff, breakfast etc. Would avoid the Family Room at all costs, go for a larger room and make sure it doesn’t have a slanted ceiling (not on the top floor).

The rooms were impeccably clean and beautifully decorated, offering a perfect blend of comfort and style. One of the highlights of our stay was the dining experience at restaurant Jardín de los Duques. The food was absolutely delicious, showcasing local flavors and creative dishes. The breakfast buffet was a standout, with a wide variety of options to suit all tastes.
