Wonderful stay ! The staff gave me a warm welcome and procured an early check-in ( very appreciated after an over night flight) . The breakfast is very good and very good service. Special mention to Cecilia at the front desk for her help.

Comfy rooms, but ventilation

Nice hotel. Over the winter though, you can not ventilate the room other than opening the window. Since the street is very trafficked amd busy, this can make for a noisy environment to sleep or a stuffy one (if you sleep with no ventilation). The lifts would benefit from an upgrade also. Other than that, comfy beds and cute and spacious rooms.

Nice hotel. Good A/C. Something not easy to find in spain. Recommend the breakfast very good. Not cheap not expensive. Good location close to subway station which its great bybthe way.

great hotel! It’s in the outsides of the city but it’s right next to El Carmen metro station and it’ll take 5-6 stops to get to the center (20 min max). It’s super clean and modern; I’d definitely stay here again.

Bravo Rafaelhoteles Ventas!!

The staff at reception were very welcoming, friendly, helpful, patient, efficient, professional and accommodating. The room was very comfortable and clean and had a lot of space. The facilities in the bathroom were excellent. The breakfast was extremely good and the staff at breakfast very professional, helpful and efficient. The hotel was in an excellent location with great transport links.

Hotel 1881 Madrid offers a convenient location with a metro station right next to the hotel, making city exploration easy. The staff, from the front desk to housekeeping, are friendly and helpful, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere. The hotel boasts modern interior design and high-quality finishes. However, the complimentary bottled water is limited to a welcome drink, and the air conditioning is fixed at 21 degrees Celsius, which can make the rooms uncomfortably warm during hot summer days. Additionally, street noise can be an issue, depending on the traffic and pedestrian activity outside.

Like in most hotels in Madrid some recepcionists know what client service is and some don't. I imagine the ones that don´t are very unhappy with their job and have no other alternative. In this hotel were half happy and half unhappy. At the end you don't want that. They should learn from Thai or mexican hotel staff.

Nos gustó la habitación. Muy cómoda. El baño enorme. Muy bueno el buffet del desayuno. La gente de la recepción muy amables. A media cuadra teníamos el metro y nos desplazábamos a la gran vía. Caminando teníamos la plaza de toros. Lo recomiendo

Das Hotel war sehr zentral zu Bahn- und Bushaltestellen gelegen. Die Räumlichkeiten waren modern und das Bett sehr gemütlich. Das Zimmer war zudem sehr sauber und wir hatten und seitlich zur Hauptstraße gelegen. Daher war es nachts auch nicht laut und man hatte einen erholsamen Schlaf nach den vielen Schritten am Tag. Für einen Städtetrip kann ich das Hotel definitiv empfehlen.
