"The hotel was very clean and well maintained. You can tell the building is a bit older but the staff was all very nice and everything was great."

"We loved that we had a microwave and a refrigerator in our hotel room. The showers were kind of small and so water went everywhere in the bathroom. They were really busy and probably didn’t have time, but the hallway and common areas needed vacuumed really bad. My kids loved the waterpark part. One of the pools was significantly warmer than the others. I wish they all would’ve been slightly warmer like that one. The kids loved the waterslides. The staff were friendly and got us extra blankets when our youngest got sick all over the bed. We will be back again."

"The staff there are top-notch! Real friendly, super helpful and always make you feel welcome. I'd like to extend a shout out to Keylee, Alexis and Gina who really went above and beyond. It was a joy to meet them and they always came through with what we needed, especially when it came to getting an extra pillow, some hot water for tea, and extending our stay another day due to the blizzard. I would also like to recognize the unsung heroes who keep the breakfast line stocked and running smoothly! For them, and the ladies at the front desk, and even the maids, it was always service with a real smile!! 😊 I might also recommend the placement of an additional chair near the elevator on each floor. Sometimes a person just needs to finish a phone call or just have an extra place to set something while they get ready to ride the elevator. Have a wonderful day! Rocky Greene"

"Almost perfect except there is no refrigerator in the rooms. Room is large and extremely quiet. Free beer, wine and food at cocktail hour. Great pool and exercise room. The location is outstanding; every conceivable store, big box and restaurant with 1 mile. Can’t believe that West Des Moines isn’t putting downtown Des Moines out of business. "

"This hotel is top notch. We enjoyed our stay. Everything was clean, the decor is so fun, and the staff was very accommodating. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety, and was easy to access each morning. The only complaint was the parking was across the street in a garage that was not owned by the hotel. I would love easier parking options or valet."
