The pool bar is seperate to the hotel so you are not allowed your own food and drinks at the pool which wasn’t advertised and quite frustrating. The man at the bar was also quite rude and slammed a sign down next to us saying no food or drink. "

"Costa Botanica is a great hotel - it has good communal areas, bars and the choice of restaurants is really good. There are numerous pools and a private beach, so it feels like there is so much space, it’s never too crowded. The staff are also amazing, they never stop and really prioritise service. Where the hotel is let down is the rooms, they feel dated, damp and dark and really need an update. Hopefully the rooms get a makeover soon to really make this a 5 star resort! "

"Such a nice place to stay. The owner was kind and extremely responsive. The balcony has stunning views. If you are looking for nice beaches definitely rent a car of a Vespa (Vespa was easy to park and cheap!). So many stores and food options around. "

"We had the most relaxing holiday we could have hoped for and everyone enjoyed it immensely. The house and pool were spotlessly clean, very comfortable, with everything that we needed for our stay. We didn't hire a car, but beach, bakery, numerous shops, bars and tavernas within short walking distance. Dinos is a great host and really cared about ensuring that we had a nice relaxing holiday. "Some of the reviews really give this place a bad reputation, but for me, it was perfectly adequate. Definitely an older hotel that being said the cleanliness of my bedding and room punched way above its costs. I really enjoyed the maid on my floor who kept my room very clean and also fully changed out my sheets every single night. I’ve stayed in nicer hotels for a week or they just keep reusing the same sheets. Not that I’m mad at that but I do appreciate the extra effort that goes in to keeping the bedding extremely clean. I chose the location so I could be close to both town and the ferry so for me I have zero issues. The only thing worth noting if you are a larger person, the shower will seem very small. The bathroom is a perfectly fine size, but the shower stall will be tight if you are a bigger person."

"This hotel is at a beautiful location within 25 mins walk from old town and less than 10 mins drive from the airport. The staff are lovely and I enjoyed their food. Our room was the partial sea view and I absolutely loved waking up to the views. The rooms are small but cozy and the staff are so attentive to the guests. I’ll visit over and over again and will recommend. 10/10"

"I stayed at this wonderful hotel with my sister. The staff are very courteous and friendly. We had booked half board. The food was absolutely delicious and fresh. There were always different variations, especially in the evening. The quality of the bar was also a 10/10. It's located right by the sea, which is just fantastic. There are also sun loungers available that are exclusively for hotel guests. If you want a party vacation, you won't find it here. But it is 100% recommended for relaxing. I felt very comfortable and would come back at any time."
