"This house is perfect in every way! It has enough space for everyone, a wonderful pool with a solar shower, perfect alfresco dining....even a resident cat! The owners met us in the local town and directed us to their home, they were very helpful and we didn't see them again! The house is typically French and very rustic! "We booked the mansion in Fiac for a two week family summer holiday with a guests age range of 2 to 67. It is a beautifully secluded house and incredibly private. Lavaur is only 10 minutes drive away with a local Saturday market, local shops and 2 large supermarkets (Super U is better than Intermarche). Rural France at its delightful best

"Stunning property in rural France where we were greeted with a warm welcome by the host and shown to our room which was beautiful, spacious and very tastefully decorated. The property does allow dogs but only in certain rooms so do remember and advise them at the time of booking. Breakfast was laid on in the morning and again our host was very attentive and really helpful. Will most definitely be staying again we drive from the UK to the Costa Blanca."

Nothing short of amazing!

"From the moment we entered the grounds we were so impressed. All the women that worked there were so kind, helpful and welcoming. The room itself was modern, spacious and spotless. We had beautiful views of the grounds from the bedroom and bathroom. The bed was the most comfortable bed we’d slept on. Such an amazing way to start our first trip to the south of France. We would definitely come back!"

"First I need to warn the readers to not use Apple Maps to get there because it will bring you to some random place on the other side of Toulouse. The chateau is out in the country side. It is a pretty building with beautiful grounds and the apartment we stayed in was very spacious, recently renovated with a terrific view of the adjacent county. The breakfast was typical French. What surprised us at the beginning was that it is also a retirement community. There are several adjacent buildings for the retirees and I think the chateau is used only as a hotel. We have not seen that before but it wasn’t really a problem and we enjoyed talking to some of them at breakfast. About a mile or two away there is a town where you can find restaurants and other shops. It’s about 20 minutes away from the center of Toulouse. So if you are looking for a peaceful place, i strongly recommend it."
