"It has a great location - lobby area and breakfast room look nicely updated. The room was decent but thankfully with better lighting than other Fairfield Inns I’ve stayed in. The front desk employee at check in and breakfast room attendant were very friendly and helpful
The only disappointment was the fitness room- very small with just a few pieces of similar equipment "
"This home has incredible views and a comfortable, nostalgic interior. Wide-open skies for stargazing. It's very close to the main street of Great Barrington, maybe an 8 minute drive. We had a few minor issues - clogged drain, glitching water heater - and the hosts responded promptly. The hosts live nearby, so it was common to see them working around the barn or grabbing things from the garage. The home has plentiful seating, more than enough room for the six people in our party to relax and enjoy the wonderful views. We loved the pool too. Great vacation home! "
"I loved staying in this house for a month. The large screened porch was my favorite place to sit in the morning with a good cup of coffee and a book. Extremely well equipped with kitchenware, it was a joy to cook, there was plenty of space for me and my guests, and I enjoyed the proximity to Great Barrington restaurants and stores and Lake Mansfield. Didier was always responsive and helpful."
"Entire house, including bathrooms were very clean. Open, airy and private as advertised. Decks on the East and South great for relaxing and eating. Only minor downside is that the limited shoulders on Alford road require extreme caution if walking to town. Not a problem for cyclists, however. We have vacationed in the Berkshires for over 35 years. This property rates in our top 1-2%."
"This was a return stay at Eden Rock. The room is modern, well-appointed, clean, with very comfortable beds. Access to an outside area is pleasant. Quiet location, convenient to Great Barrington and Berkshire attractions. While there is no front desk or reception area, instructions for accessing the room are easy to follow."
