The hosts were really accommodating, fast in their response times and went out of their way to help us, even including help with finding shops, dropping us off in out of the way places, etc. The breakfast, too was excellent and the location relative to the airport with great sea views etc was perfect.

Amazing days in paradise
Everithing was good, comfortable rooms, helpful landlord, free WiFi and paper Map of the island, nice neighbourhood. I spent there wonderul time with my family, we got full servis what we need, parking was in the garden behind the gate. Because the room was free after check-out we were allowed to use it till the evening (cause of night flight) so we could have a shower before flight. Only small minus for small black sign plate by the main road. My status for next stay in the property - absolutely YES, recommend!

Very nice place. The owner is super friendly and very helpful, she lives next door and passes by from time to time to see if everything is ok. She gave us also a free baby cot. The only negative point is the position. The streets to arrive the accomodation are very very steep and small, neither easy to walk nor to go by car. However, the owner offered us to take us down to the shop/beach/bus stop and to pick us up later. But in the end we rented a car to be more flexible.

The East Horizon self catering guesthouse is run by a very personable land lady. She is very helpful and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable. She even allowed my mom (who was travelling with us and into gardening) to pluck plants from her own garden so mom can plant in her garden. The guesthouse itself is spacious, clean and well equipped in a great location close to beaches and not too far from airport.

Highly recommended - close to the best beaches!
East Horizon was everything we hoped for, the apartment was in a beautiful quiet settign with fabulous views of the Indian Ocean from both the living room, bedroom and veranda/terrace. We had breakfast on the terrace every morning with only the sound of birds singing and the breaking of waves. It is a five minute walk down to a lovely beach where fishermen sell a lot of delicious fish (one day we bought six small barracuda) for a very good price. If you take the bus another five minutes, you arrive at the most beautiful beaches we found in the Seychelles - the Anse Royale and Fairyland beaches - where there's also a nice restaurant for a good lunch in between the swimming. The Anse Royale is the perfect long white tropical beach with crystal clear water and fine sand that is fabulous for kids and adults alike to swim at, there's possibilities of shade and it was never crowded. Adjacent is the beautoful coves and granite rocks of the Fairyland Beach, also with quiet crystal clear water. Both beaches were great both at low and high tide. There are some supermarket and shops at Anse Royale, but also some mini markets closer to East Horizon. Finally, apart from the lovely apartment and beautiful views, it was the owners Febrona & Harry and their two kids that made East Horizon a wonderful place to stay. They were the perfect gentle hosts - giving us our privacy but also helping with everything from bookings of tours to giving us a lift to the mini market or beach. Great Place!
