This property was more than I expected. I stayed in a villa and it was so beautiful. I loved that it was literally a few feet away from the beach. The staff there are amazing, anything that I needed they were there for me. I would definitely book again.

Beautiful hotel which was perfect for our honeymoon. The attention to detail, tips, quality of food and amenities, and luxurious decor were perfect. The staff were incredibly friendly and a special shoutout to chef Suresh, waiting staff Manish and Aye who took extra care to look after us on our tete-a-tete one year anniversary dinner, Seyshima and breakfast. Another special shoutout to pool staff Santhian and Jerry who helped us with everything pool and beach-related. I have written a seperate review for Seyshima so I’ll write about the tete-a-tete, Trader Vic’s (cool fusion restaurant with live music), Eden, and Vasco’s (buffet restaurant) over here. Tete-a-tete: all four courses were served perfectly cooked with the texture appropriate for the cuisine as well as the produce used. The food items were cooked to the right standard fitting for a special occasion. Manish was a great camera man for us as well, getting all the right photos in too. For the price, this is certainly worth it for the right occasion. Trader Vic’s: The atmosphere matched the drinks and the food in terms of the best of qualities. Again, the waiting staff were generous with wanting us to have the best experience. The live musician had all the couples up cha-chaing between drinking. Perfect for all couples/groups. Eden: Another great restaurant by the pool which serves up their more luxurious food. The waiting staff was proactive and made sure we were recommended food to our preference. Vasco’s: Great

Excellent stay at story hotel situated on one of the best if not the best beaches in Mahe. Food needs improvement. Happy we chose the half board since it was the only weak point of the property. Staff is friendly and property is 5 star.

We loved an everything about this property! The layout of the resort was beautiful and convenient. The. Buildings were low so you could see the beautiful mountain behind it. The landscaping was beautiful. The beach is beautiful! The resort employees were all so cheerful, helpful, knowledgeable and eager to do anything they could to make our stay the best possible experience. The restaurants at the resort were the best meals we had while in Seychelles. We will definitely stay at STORY any time we return!

Beautiful hotel!
The hotel is truly 5*, the staff are so friendly and helpful and the food is amazing. Pool is gorgeous with access right on the beach. If you’re not staying here all-inclusive I would recommend hiring a car, however the hotel does offer excursions.

The staff were brilliant and the customer service we received during our stay was fantastic. Neige was particularly sweet on our check-in. The attention to detail regarding the reason for our stay ie honeymoon and my birthday was very much appreciated, our thanks to the team. The hotel grounds are beautiful. The room we had was perfect for us and a very nice view over the pool and beach. The only negatives I can point out were housekeeping services were not up to standard, each time they cleaned the room, it was obvious it was a very quick fix and not properly cleaned and the other negative was the food, not only extraordinarily expensive but we struggled for our 9 nights stay because we did not enjoy the food in none of the 3 restaurants they have and we did not want to pay 60 euros per person for the buffet dinner restaurant as it seemed excessive plus that restaurant was always mostly empty which I think could be avoided if a more reasonable price was set. Other than these two aspects we did love everything else and we recommend this place wholeheartedly.

This is a really special hotel, the staff are all very welcoming, polite and nothing is too much trouble. The hotel oozes quality; food options and portions are more than generous; slightly too generous at times. The different restaurants in the confines of the hotel offer diversity and are a foodies delight. All of this does come at a cost, but you are 5star in the Seychelles so be prepared! All inclusive was in my opinion a real plus and the only practical option for us. Closing words must be the Staff who from the top down were outstanding. Thank you Story Seychelles, this was on our lifetime bucket list and met in every way our dreams. Mr Taylerson
