Everything was wonderful except that it did mot feel like there was much recognition of VIP status. No bottles of wine were offered or room upgrade. We had to argue for the room we orginally paid for and also we were downgraded for the end of our stay. It felt like we paid a lot of money ($450/nt) to not be treated like anything special. $450 is a lot of momey in Portugal. or anywhere..it was disappointing. I think the staff is very nice but they seemed stressed. The management forces them to sell rooms out from under reserved guests. There seemed to be other angry guests. That is not a good way to run business. The rate should be guaranteed.

"Right across the street from airport. Even though it was a very short walk with luggage , it can be a little complex because the uneven sidewalk.. however they do have a shuttle for two euros, which was very convenient because I had an early flight and it runs 24 hours. the hotel is very compact ..."
