"We were expecting a simple, quiet cabin in the woods for a brief get away. Although listings often use flowery adjectives like luxurious and cozy, this one was truly a standout. High-end kitchenware, unique and regionally appropriate decor and art, leather furniture, a Pendleton wool blanket for the couch and so much more made us immediately feel like a welcomed guest at a friend’s home. "We rented this cabin so we could meet up with our granddaughter (from Nashville area) to do some hiking. It was perfect for us! We were easily able to drive to Giant City for hiking and dinner. We also drove a bit further to hike at Tunnel Hill and Cache River State park. The cabin was clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with appliances and utensils. Even though there were several cabins around us, we felt like we had plenty of privacy. We'll definitely be staying here...

"This little cabin is tucked into a hillside and is very cute. It was extremely clean and had all the amenities of home, down to the salt and pepper. This was a test run mostly for our dog and worked out well. We did not use the hot tub, so I cannot comment on that, but I'm sure it would have been amazing. It is in a residential area very near Lake Egypt and the road was busy at times, but all the people in the area seemed very friendly and waved as they drove by. So fun! The cabin is close...

"Came in on a Friday evening - hit a nearby winery for a drink and light dinner. Everything in the cabin was perfect. Very clean and had everything we needed - we cooked breakfast and grilled steaks (did have to bring charcoal but we knew that in advance). The hot tub was amazing - beautiful sunsets and wildlife added the perfect touch! Hosts were very helpful and got back to us immediately when we reached out. Can’t wait to visit again!"

"My husband and I recently were in Southern Illinois for a few days celebrating our daughter's birthday. She is enrolled at SIU, Carbondale. We had a wonderful time visiting the wineries in the area, hiking and biking. The cabin was absolutely perfect and we had everything we needed and more.
