"If you're coming from anywhere as a traveller that is train bus or air... It's too far away 16km which adds another 400 baht to trip. Internet is really bad if you need it. Staff were helpful. Almost no eating facility within a mile. Tbh Sura Thani is strange. Police were helpful finding me reasonable ride to the hotel. But very few actual eating places around unless you like your pork beef chicken etc."

"A comfortable one night stop over. There is some loud music from a 24hr gym on one side of he hotel but when we changed rooms to the other side of the horel it was quiet. No breakfast availability but there is complimentary tea/ coffee in reception and a 7/11 across the road. Convenient location to the Seatran and Phantip bus stations. Clean ,comfortable, convenient and good value one night stop over."

"I'm very tolerant of ratty old hotels but this crossed some lines for me. The first room I was placed in was covered on cobwebs and holes in the ceiling tiles and walls. Ontop of that there was no running water. The family was helpful trying to fix it but eventually moved me to a different room. This one stunk horrendously of sewage. I refused to stay in it so they moved me to a 3rd and it had black mold in the corner on the ceiling and wall. It was late so I dealt with it at possible detriment...

"The doorman was most helpfull. Language was a bit of a barrier at reception. We had the kindest, most friendly waitress in the Resstaurant. Evening meals were very tasty and acompanied by beautifull piano and vocals. The pool was super clean. The room was quite spacious and we were happy with what we recieved. Good value for money."

"This was an average hotel at best. The room was quite small and the bed was hard as per Asian standards. There is not much in the area and we had a hard time finding anything to eat after our arrival in the early evening. 7-11 was about the only thing open. There was supposed to be a Tesco nearby but we could not locate it. Breakfast was not great."
