"Casa Makai is a beautiful property with an incredible ocean/jungle view & very comfortable furnishings. The filtered water system was a treat, allowing us to fill our water bottles and drink directly from the tap, reducing unnecessary plastic waste. It is secured behind a private gate & monitored overnight by an on-sight security guard, (which didn't seem necessary as everyone in town was exceptionally kind and trustworthy). "Amazing !! from the second we booked our vacation with this host it was just absolutely flawless.!! When we arrived to the property she and met us and gave us a tour of the beautiful property. This home has everything, and it is eco friendly too. Flor our host helped us with taxis, tours restaurant advice, yoga, music and.. anytime we needed her she was just a text or phone call away!! "We loved everything about this property. It is private, quiet yet close enough to walk to the beach and the rancho bar. The whole area is flat so easy to manage if you have a stroller or if you are elderly. There is a full age range of people in this community which was super fun for nights at the rancho. I highly recommend this property. The owner was very responsive and organized. A fantastic vacation!"

"We loved the apartment and having two pools was great. The beach was a very short walk across the road and down a trail and there are restaurants on the doorstep. Santa Teresa is the perfect surf and yoga town, has a good healthy lifestyle feel about it and feels safe. We loved being able to walk back and forth to the beach so if one person had enough of the beach they didn't have to wait for the whole family. "We stayed here for the entire month of April 2024 and enjoyed the house. During the driest and hottest month in CR, the refreshing pool and reliable AC was appreciated. The home was comfortable and modern, and the outdoor area covered. The living area is all outside like many homes in Costa Rica. Paquera itself is a sleepy town but there is lots to do all around the Penninsula and we took full advantage of all the activities Rhonda recommended. "One week before arrival i replied to the emails send by vacasa/vrbo; 3 emails to ask for local persons contact. Did not receive any reply on the emails. So we had to wait by the gate. Had to call to vacasa USA, several calls, a mess. Once entered the property, big was the surprise when we saw the walls full of dirty traces in all chambers! Oxidation from the fans made a complete mess. Bedsheets, walls, all full of sprinkled oxidation. Also only 1 towel per person for the whole stay (4days!)...

"We had a fantastic time at Casa De Noni. The house was perfect for 2 families of 4 with young kids (4-9), it was clean, well furnished, and Ruth was very responsive to all our requests and needs.
